The inter-university competition "Fintech - Blockchain Hackathon 2025" successfully concluded its fourth season under the guidance and support of three co-organizing universities: Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages and Information Technology, University of Industry and Trade HCMC, and Gia Dinh University. This reflects the growing collaboration among universities in promoting financial technology education.

The participation of University of Industry and Trade HCMC and Gia Dinh University was a new addition this season, complementing the pioneering role of Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages and Information Technology in previous seasons. University of Industry and Trade, with its strengths in economics and commerce, brought perspectives on Fintech applications in e-commerce and digital payments. Gia Dinh University, with expertise in information technology and business management, played a key role in bridging technology with practical applications.

The Fintech and Digital Assets Promotion Network (FADA) continued to serve as an important co-organizer, alongside active participation from multiple student clubs across universities. In addition to familiar clubs such as HUFLIT’s Fintech and Financial Investment Club (HUFIC), Foreign Trade University – Campus II Fintech Club (FFC), and University of Economics HCMC Stock Club (SCUE), this season welcomed the Financial Investment Club of Van Lang University (VFC), Gia Dinh University Software Club (GSW), and the Blockchain Committee (TEC Go) under the Future Entrepreneurs Club of Foreign Trade University (TEC).

The collaboration among clubs from different universities created a strong support network for students. These clubs not only helped organize the competition but also provided opportunities for students to interact, learn from, and share experiences with each other. VFC offered fresh perspectives on investment and asset management, while GSW contributed expertise in software development and technological applications.

The TEC Go Blockchain Committee from Foreign Trade University was a particularly notable addition, reflecting the growing interest of economics students in blockchain technology. Their participation expanded the scope of the competition and created opportunities for students from different disciplines to collaborate and learn from one another.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Vu, Vice President of HUFLIT, shared: “We are extremely proud to continue organizing the inter-university Fintech - Blockchain Hackathon 2025. The competition is not only an annual event but also a testament to our commitment to nurturing talented young people who will shape the future of the financial technology industry.”

Having three co-organizing universities also reflects a trend of collaboration and linkage among universities in training high-quality human resources. Rather than competing negatively, these universities created a shared learning and development environment where students can learn from one another and progress together. This cooperation also optimizes resources and generates greater value for participating students.
